Our Annual Corn Sale!

 

On August 9 2014, we had our fouth annual Corn sale.  Thanks to all the people here in Kelowna that purchased corn.  Your support of the Kelowna City Concert Band is appreciated!

 

Each summer the Kelowna Concert Band holds their annual Chilliwack Corn Sale.    All our band members participate in this fund raising endeavour.  The proceeds go towards helping with our annual operating costs of running the band, renting our rehearsal space, purchase of music, equipment purchase, and more.

 

We bring up about 1200 dozen, non-GMO Sweet Corn, from Sparkes Corn in Chilliwack, fresh picked that day. We sell the corn at various locations throughout Kelowna and West Kelowna.   Thankfully there are many retailers that allow us to set up our tables and sell corn at their locations, among them being:  

 

Canadian Tire Kelowna and West Kelowna,  

London Drugs Kelowna and West Kelowna,  

Rona,  Trinity Baptist Church.   

                                           

Thank you to these business, and others, for helping us!  We encourage our band members, family and friends to patronize these businesses in appreciate of their ongoing support of the Kelowna Concert Band.
